Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos — an MMA fighter who competed in the UFC and Bellator, and dated Demi Lovato — is dead at 38 years old, his family and members of the fighting community said on Tuesday.
The cause of death is not known at this time.
Vasconcelos made appearances across multiple MMA promotions … and accumulated a record of 10-6 over the course of his seven-year pro career.
The MMA fighter posted a photo outside a Jiu-Jitsu studio to his Instagram less than 24 hours ago.
As for Bomba’s time with Lovato, the couple was first spotted together back in 2017 … celebrating New Year’s Eve together, and attending a movie on New Year’s Day.
After several months of dating, they split in May … with outlets reporting the relationship had “had run its course.”
Guilherme’s uncle, Walter, mourned the loss … saying, “We were looking forward to your visit for Christmas, which will no longer happen. Life is fleeting, and we woke up to this devastating news. What a time we live in.”
“We pray for you! May God, who can do all things, welcome you in His infinite mercy and comfort all who have always loved you!”
Travis Kelce‘s ex, Kayla Nicole, is opening up on her recent appearance on Angel Reese‘s podcast and the backlash that ensued … saying while she didn’t pay the negativity any mind, her mother was “offended” by the social media commentary.
The influencer made headlines for speaking out on a number of topics on the Chicago Sky star’s “Unapologetically Angel” show last week … including past relationships, rumors surrounding her breakup with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and being targeted by Taylor Swift fans.
During a sit-down on “I Am Athlete,” Kayla admitted she might have changed some of her answers — or provided no comment altogether at certain times — to fully embody her character … but ultimately, she felt like she handled the whole thing with grace.
“I thought that I answered the questions to the best of my ability,” Kayla said. “The public had their interpretation of things — didn’t matter to me.”
Kayla might not have cared about the chatter that came with the podcast … but it got to her mother.
“My mom calls me, though. And it’s those conversations … that’s what matters to me because she’s offended. She’s hurt by the way people are perceiving her daughter. She’s hurt by the negative headlines and the way people are spinning it. And even my mom was like, ‘Maybe next time, we don’t answer those questions’ and it’s simple as that. Don’t give it any energy. You don’t always have to respond.”
Kayla chalked up the whole thing up to not having much media training … and is treating it all like a learning experience.
It was an emotional conversation with ex-NFL stars Martellus Bennettand Brandon Marshall … and at one point, Kayla choked back tears as they shared their knowledge on media and the power that comes with having a platform.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard, looking to move forward from her traumatic past, shared her plans for addressing her late mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard with her future child. Speaking on Nick Viall’s podcast, “The Viall Files,” Gypsy discussed how she will handle conversations about her complicated history when her baby, expected with boyfriend Ken Urker next year, grows older. She aims to avoid uncomfortable talks about her mother’s infamous actions while focusing on creating a positive future.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard expressed sadness that her mother will never meet her daughter, admitting she occasionally reflects on what could have been. Gypsy, who served seven years in prison for her role in the 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, has accused her of subjecting her to years of medical abuse and unnecessary procedures. Despite her complicated past, Gypsy is now focused on moving forward as she prepares to welcome a baby with her boyfriend.
Yet, it seems Gypsy Rose doesn’t plan to rehash the past with her baby girl … confessing her stepmother, Kristy Blanchard, “has become more of a mother to [her] than [her] own mother was.”
She added … “Kristy is going to be grandma.”
Gypsy Rose also hit back at the negative remarks she has received since announcing her pregnancy.
She continued … “The one thing that just irritates me is the fact that people really have this stigma on, you know, new parents that have come from a life of trauma and the stigma of, oh, you know, ‘You had been through this, so you’re gonna continue on that cycle with your child.'”
Gypsy Rose defended this is an “unfair” stance, given the fact she’s taken steps to make sure she’s “mentally stable enough to be a parent.”
Her bottom line is clear … she may not be a perfect parent, but she intends to do everything she can to give her daughter the best life possible.
Artem Chigvintsev achieved a favorable outcome following a two-hour court hearing in his divorce case with Nikki Garcia (formerly Bella). Court documents reveal that a Napa County judge ordered shared custody of their 4-year-old son, Matteo, between the professional dancer and the retired WWE star.
This was certainly the outcome the “Dancing with the Stars” alum was hoping for … as he previously requested joint custody when he filed his divorce response in September.
Nikki, on the other hand, sought sole custody of Matteo when she filed for divorce … requesting Artem have supervised visitation with their son and undergo anger management classes.
TMZ broke the story … Nikki was granted a restraining order against Artem at the start of this month, after she detailed alleged abuse from her husband. Artem responded to the allegations with his own accusations, painting Nikki as the aggressor in their relationship.
Although Artem Chigvintsev was arrested for domestic violence in August, the Napa County District Attorney chose not to pursue criminal charges, citing insufficient grounds for ethical prosecution. During the recent hearing, Artem testified that he does not have anger issues, and the judge did not mandate anger management. However, both Artem and Nikki Garcia will participate in individual therapy.
The judge DID order both Nikki and Artem to take parenting classes so they can better co-parent their little one.
Nikki and Artem’s divorce trial is set for December … and will take place over the course of 2 days.

Not everyone is fortunate enough to live right across the street from their school, allowing them to sleep in without worrying about catching the bus or getting stuck in traffic with their parents. For many students, this isn’t the case, and for parents, it can be a headache as they wait in long lines to drop off their kids.
At one elementary school in Ohio, the staff noticed that some parents were taking too long in the drop-off lane. To address this, they decided to put up some signs reminding drivers that the area is not a parking space. The parents appreciated these signs not only for their helpfulness but also for their fun and nostalgic touch!
An elementary school in Ohio noticed that parents were taking too long to drop off their kids, so they came up with a creative approach
According to the Safe Routes to School (SRTS) guide, a drop-off and pick-up lane is designated for loading and unloading students by private vehicles, located adjacent to or directly on school grounds. This area is a no-parking zone, meaning cars should move immediately after children exit and ensure there are no kids in the way.
However, what should be a quick and convenient process often becomes slow and stressful. Mornings can be hectic, and kids might take their time getting ready, resist going to school, or parents might want to finish a conversation or check their phones after stopping. As a result, cars often linger in the drop-off area longer than they should.
Since drop-off lanes are strictly no-parking zones, vehicles are only allowed to stop briefly to pick up or drop off passengers. Unfortunately, many drivers don’t follow these rules. This led one school in Ohio to put up signs reminding parents to keep moving once their children are out of the car.
The school decided to create some meme-like images featuring well-known celebrities to help parents remember the drop-off lane rules. These funny photos were shared in the school’s parent Facebook group, and one parent, Monet Lude, noted that while the kids might not fully appreciate the humor, the adults certainly do.
The signs feature the faces of MC Hammer, TLC, Ryan Gosling, and Ross from Friends, all encouraging parents to say goodbye to their kids, avoid blocking the lanes, and not park in them.
Bored Panda spoke with Monet Lude, whose Facebook post about the signs went viral with 10,000 likes. She shared that when she first saw the signs, she laughed out loud, saying, “Mornings can get hectic, but these signs really helped ease the tension.”
The school decided to put up some signs reminding the parents that they shouldn’t linger too long in front of the school
The president of the Austintown Elementary PTA Jessica Lippillo told Today Parents that the drop-off lines at their school were usually running smoothly, but “this year, some of our kids are attending school for the first time ever because of COVID. Students and parents are feeling anxious and I wanted to alleviate their stress.”
Instead of penalizing the parents or sending them passive-aggressive emails, the school wanted to show that they have a sense of humor and decided to put up a reminder with a comical twist. Although the signs will be removed after a week, the director is already thinking about what the school will surprise the parents with at the end of the year.
Monet Lude told us that she doesn’t “frequent the drop off line but when [they] get the ‘pleasure’ their have been some jams for sure.”
But have done it with a comical twist and sprinkling some nostalgia in it as well
A video explaining how to speed up the drop-off process went viral on TikTok, and both parents and teachers flooded the comments to thank creator Teasha Witherspoon for raising awareness.
Her five tips include placing kids in the passenger seat and teaching them to efficiently shuffle to the other side if there are multiple children. She suggests they be ready to open the door when it’s their turn and not to wait for parents to do it for them. Teasha also advises that kids should wear their backpacks and that parents should keep the car moving at a slow pace—just a few miles per hour—to avoid blocking the line.
While it’s essential for parents to help keep the flow of traffic moving, Monet Lude believes the signs are also very helpful. “The school can only do so much to improve the drop-off lines. Ours definitely goes above and beyond with staff directing traffic each morning, but these signs definitely make it easier to follow that guidance!”

People in the comments were loving the school’s sense of humor and agreed that the problem of drop-off lanes is real

Over the past 5 years, I have worked as a teacher, camp counselor and au pair, and I can certainly testify that kids are geniuses. After spending lots of time with them, I sometimes feel sad that my brain seems to have built walls and boundaries that their little minds just don’t have. They are incredibly creative and brave, and their imaginations know no bounds. Although we may never be able to reach a point of unbridled childlike wonder again, even just reading quotes from Live From Snack Time might help us channel our inner children just a bit, which can make life much more fun!
Laughter, whether it’s quiet, loud, or in-between, is good for the soul, as long as it’s well-timed. Funerals aren’t the best place for a good laugh—Aunt Gertrude’s farewell deserves a little more respect.
But when it comes to the funny messages shared on the sign outside El Arroyo, an Austin, Texas Tex-Mex restaurant, those laughs are always welcome. Since 1975, they’ve been serving up great food with a side of humor, and Bored Panda loves sharing their witty signs.
Enjoy the chuckles, and don’t forget to vote for your favorites! If you’re still in need of a laugh, we’ve got more for you to check out. Enjoy!

Comedy is all around us—whether in music, movies, TV shows, theater, or even everyday places like the streets or sky. Its main goal is to make us laugh and enjoy ourselves, and it’s been doing that for a long time, starting with the Ancient Greeks. Classic comedy usually has a light, funny tone, and ends on a happy note.
While what’s funny to one person might not be to someone else, screenwriter Alyssa Maio from New Jersey believes there are some techniques that can make jokes more appealing to most people.

According to Alyssa, timing is key in comedy. How a comedian or actor delivers a joke can make all the difference in how the audience reacts. Good timing creates anticipation, and what we expect—or don’t expect—adds to the humor, especially when something totally unexpected happens. Comedy also works best when it’s relatable, a little sad, and helps us cope with life’s challenges.
But writing this type of comedy is hard. Alexi Duggins believes it’s even tougher than drama because humor is so personal. What one person finds funny, another might not. He argues that comedy, like life, helps us deal with difficult topics by making us laugh at things that would otherwise seem overwhelming, like the meaning of our existence.
Hi everyone! Our names are Karla and Fabricio, and with our project Rebordação Handmade Embroidery, we are introducing modern vibes to the embroidery world. We create funny embroidery artwork on hoops that are inspired by puns, memes, pop culture, and more.

We (Fabricio and Karla) are a Brazilian couple in their mid-30s based in Lisbon, Portugal, since 2017. We’ve lived together for the past 11 years. We work together on everything, starting from the design, creation, and even the needlework! The embroidery art is our main income source.

We decided to start our project back in 2017, after seeing that many people were forgetting the embroidery art because most of the content created at that time was just flowers and what one would call “grandmother” stuff.
We began by creating an Instagram page and selling our pieces at local art markets, but after the first lockdown in 2020, when one of our pieces went viral (the Van Gogh with a facemask), we stopped selling at local art markets and focused solely on selling online.

The most challenging part of the creative process is turning our ideas into “embroiderable” material. It is easier to put them on paper with a pencil than into fabric using threads. The part we enjoy the most is the final result. It’s like a song; we just have an idea of how it will sound after it’s finished being composed.

The most fulfilling aspect of our work is when someone tells us that our art has brightened their day and made them smile; that’s the priceless part. We would like people to take away from our work that humor is a great way to deal with sensitive subjects and daily frustrations, and sometimes laughing at yourself is the best option.

Our future plans include creating more and more embroidery art. Also, start creating some content to teach people to use embroidery art as a way of self-expression and, through the needles and threads, to convey their message to the world.
